Meet Ellie

For Ellie, architecture is the ultimate expression of a lifelong obsession with the art of creating. A Kansas native, she shapes her design philosophy around the importance of exploring new perspectives and experiencing different ways of life. Currently, she is a student at the College of Architecture, Planning and Design at Kansas State University, working towards a master’s in architecture. Ellie views hand-sketching and physical model-making as vital tools for exploration. Whether she is collaborating on-site or sketching in her spare time, working with her hands allows her to see spatial challenges in a completely different light and keeps her grounded in the human scale.

Seeking a fresh perspective and a dynamic change of pace, Ellie recently moved to Columbus to immerse herself in a new city. When she isn't sketching out ideas, she can be found playing her guitar or losing herself in a new favorite genre of music.
