CHRISTIAN MILLESON | Project Designer
Christian Milleson
Christian holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from Kent State University. He joined MKC through its merger with studioTECHNE architects in Cleveland, Ohio, where he resides. He has also served as an adjunct professor and program coordinator at Kent State’s College of Architecture and Environmental Design, helping students early in their education understand spatial relationships and articulate formal ideas through physical and digital tools.
Christian enjoys developing designs from initial concepts into constructable ones. His approach considers the human interface- how people occupy a building, interpret its form, and experience its spaces. He pays close attention to the details that connect a design’s overall intent with its everyday use, including the small moments that give a place character.
Sketching and drawing are central to how Christian observes architecture and shares ideas. Whether developing a project or drawing for leisure, he uses sketches to explore spatial relationships and evoke the distinctive qualities that make a place memorable. His interest in architecture encompasses multiple scales, from individual technical components to buildings and the communities around them.
