As a result of a substantial increase in enrollment in the health sciences programs, the college had a need to expand their physical instructional facilities. The design of this new facility provided spatial relationships organized to support the multi-disciplined curriculum clearly reflective of the contained functions.

The chosen site allowed for first and second floor entrances, both at grade levels, greatly enhancing handicap accessibility. Unique room shapes were utilized because of their proven ability to be successful in instructional support.
