MKC Associates, Inc.
Mansfield, OH

Committed to supporting the City’s renewal efforts, MKC relocated to a downtown building in late 2004. Originally built in 1916 as a farmer’s market, the historic structure had most recently been used as a foreign car repair shop.

The renovation respects the building’s original character by leaving much of the restored original architecture exposed – including interior brick walls, steel ceiling beams and support columns as well as the two-story glass clerestory original to the building. Even the original front iron gate, intended for farmer’s horse drawn carts, was maintained.
