This new 36,000 sq. ft. branch library is being designed to LEED Silver standards and will accommodate patrons with the most modern, state-of-the art technology available in library design.

The building design includes day light harvesting, chilled beam technology, and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified heavy timber frames. Indigenous materials such as the limestone on the exterior and interior will also be utilized. The building roof drains into bioswales that filter all storm water off the site.
