To address multiple problems caused by severe jail overcrowding, Delaware County commissioned MKC to design expansions and renovations to the existing facility to securely accommodate the space needs of the staff and the increasing jail population.

The project includes a new 196-bed, two-story male dormitory; a new 24-bed female dormitory; a new security/electronics system; and remodeling of portions of the existing jail.
