This project features a new 45,600 sq. ft. building for the handling and transfer of steel coils. The facility is a pre-engineered metal structure designed with the ability for expansion in five more phases, of equal size. This facility will allow for rail and truck access within the building in order to load and unload large coils of steel. Two 100' long, 40-ton overhead cranes have been incorporated into the design to facilitate this function. Other specialty features of the facility include:Recessed rail access to allow for improved visibility for coil handling, and 10" reinforced concrete floors.
